Learning About Cloud Foundry in the Enterprise at Cloud Foundry Summit

This is the second in a series from our Cloud Foundry community on why to attend Cloud Foundry Summit in Boston, April 18-20. Register here.

Cloud Foundry Summit is taking place in Boston this year rather than Silicon Valley, and we from anynines are looking forward to this special event! For us, the Cloud Foundry Summits in North America and Europe are the event highlights of the year.

Since the beginning of the year, we have been preparing for Summit with anticipation. We can’t wait to meet other participants at the event and forge new connections with the community. It will also be very exciting to see which technologies and topics both the community and the end users will discuss, and to learn about their experiences are with challenges and successes.

Face-to-face conversations with people interested in and using Cloud Foundry enables us to get a better understanding of their needs for our products, such as the a9s Data Services, which we contribute the Cloud Foundry ecosystem. We deeply value this direct exchange with users so we can always be improving – this is an important part of any Cloud Foundry Summit for us.

Cloud Foundry Summit provides the best communication platform for a quick and uncomplicated exchange across a wide range, bringing together technical enthusiasts. I’m especially looking forward to getting together with the community in Boston and learning about the SIGs, their different topics of interests and dive deeper into those issues with them.

The keynotes and talks offer the occasion to get an overview of the latest topics, thanks to the specialists presenting information. I’m particularly looking forward to the Cloud Foundry in the Enterprise track to learn about the real and everyday experiences around Cloud Foundry, which challenges and barriers exist, and the success that can be achieved with Cloud Foundry.

In addition to all the exciting talks, the exhibition hall will be the place to be for anynines! I like to exchange expertise with fellow campaigners in Sales and Accounting, because we are all in the same boat. Learning more about their daily experiences in the context of Cloud Foundry is a particularly valuable aspect for me. This part of the Summit has always generated interesting and long-term relationships for us. As common contributors to the success of Cloud Foundry and its users, we have a common goal: to optimize and make Cloud Foundry more accessible in order to increase the adoption of as many users as possible.

There is never enough time to speak to everyone and discuss every topic at Cloud Foundry Summit! It makes me think there should be more than one North American Cloud Foundry Summit every year.

The anynines team is very excited about what’s coming up. See you in Boston!
