Description
Matthieu Barjole and Victor Cutillas discovered that Sudo incorrectly escaped control characters in log messages and sudoreplay output. An attacker could possibly use these issues to inject terminal control characters that alter output when being viewed. Update Instructions: Run `sudo pro fix USN-6005-1` to fix the vulnerability. The problem can be corrected by updating your system to the following package versions: sudo-ldap – 1.8.21p2-3ubuntu1.6 sudo – 1.8.21p2-3ubuntu1.6 No subscription required

Mitigation
Users of affected products are strongly encouraged to follow the mitigations below. The Cloud Foundry project recommends upgrading the following releases:
- Bionic Stemcells
- Upgrade 1.x versions to 1.192 or greater
- All other stemcells should be upgraded to the latest version available on bosh.io.
- cflinuxfs3
- Upgrade all versions to 0.361.0 or greater
- cflinuxfs4
- Upgrade all versions to 1.5.0 or greater
- Jammy Stemcells
- Upgrade 1.x versions to 1.102 or greater
- All other stemcells should be upgraded to the latest version available on bosh.io.
- CF Deployment
- Upgrade all versions to 27.6.0 or greater, upgrade Jammy Stemcells to 1.102 or greater, and upgrade Bionic Stemcells to 1.192 or greater
