Description

It was discovered that libxml2 incorrectly handled certain XML files. An attacker could possibly use this issue to cause a crash. (CVE-2022-2309) It was discovered that libxml2 incorrectly handled certain XML files. An attacker could possibly use this issue to expose sensitive information or cause a crash. (CVE-2022-40303) It was discovered that libxml2 incorrectly handled certain XML files. An attacker could possibly use this issue to execute arbitrary code. (CVE-2022-40304) Update Instructions: Run `sudo pro fix USN-5760-1` to fix the vulnerability. Mitigation

Users of affected products are strongly encouraged to follow the mitigations below.

The Cloud Foundry project recommends upgrading the following releases:

• Bionic Stemcells
  • Upgrade 1.x versions to 1.161 or greater
  • All other stemcells should be upgraded to the latest version available on bosh.io.
• cflinuxfs3
  • Upgrade all versions to 0.344.0 or greater
• Jammy Stemcells
  • Upgrade 1.x versions to 1.80 or greater
  • All other stemcells should be upgraded to the latest version available on bosh.io.
• CF Deployment
  • Upgrade all versions to 24.1.0 or greater, upgrade Jammy Stemcells to 1.80 or greater, and upgrade Bionic Stemcells to 1.161 or greater
