Keynote speakers, conference agenda and developer training classes now online for Summit in Santa Clara, California; Early Bird Registration End March 30th
SAN FRANCISCO, March 28, 2016 – Cloud Foundry Foundation, home of the industry-standard platform for cloud applications, today is announcing the program, training sessions and keynotes for Cloud Foundry Summit North America. The Summit takes place May 23-25, 2016, at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California.
“With hundreds of enterprises standardizing on Cloud Foundry as their platform for continuous delivery and multi-cloud computing, investments in the platform and the community continuing to grow at a strong pace. This year’s Summit will be our best ever,” said Cloud Foundry CEO Sam Ramji. “We had over 250 submissions to this year’s call for papers and we’ve added a day to the conference in order to accommodate a full agenda of rich content and training. Most significantly, we have a full track by Cloud Foundry project leads and core contributors to discuss the roadmap. If you want to influence Cloud Foundry, you should join us in Santa Clara.”
More than 2,000 application developers, IT operations experts, technical managers, business leaders, service providers and Cloud Foundry core project contributors are expected to attend the Cloud Foundry Summit. Attendees will collaborate with peers, gain first-hand access to Cloud Foundry roadmaps, training and tutorials; and see how Allstate, BNY Mellon, Daimler, Ford Motor Company, GE, Warner Music, Visa and others are using Cloud Foundry to support continuous innovation, unleash developers and deliver application portability in a multi-cloud world. Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of microservices, containers, multi-cloud environments, cloud application platforms, and how to apply these to their business needs.
Attendees will also join core contributors to receive first-hand knowledge on the project and discuss deep technical topics, engineering roadmaps, community ecosystems, and operational best practices. The full Cloud Foundry Summit agenda includes a specific “core” speaking and engagement track for those looking to connect directly with contributors.
Attendees also can attend one of three pre-conference training sessions:
- Cloud Foundry for Beginners
- Microservices on Cloud Foundry
- Operating a Platform
