New Gold members bring total Board of Directors to nine
SAN FRANCISCO — February 6, 2018 — Cloud Foundry Foundation, home of a family of open source projects including Cloud Foundry Application Runtime, Cloud Foundry Container Runtime and Cloud Foundry BOSH, today announced that Barbara Sanders, Vice President of Technology and Chief Architect for The Home Depot, and Jörg Wagner, VP Cloud, Swisscom were elected as representatives from Gold member companies. Lew Tucker, Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Cloud Computing at Cisco, also joined the Foundation’s Board of Directors. The three new Board members join current Board representatives from member companies Dell EMC, IBM, VMware, SAP, SUSE and VMware.

At The Home Depot, Sanders is responsible for IT Enterprise Architecture and Cloud Strategy, along with support for international geographies, Data Warehousing, Advanced Analytics, Application Platforms and Developer Tools. As Chief Architect, she has been instrumental in developing The Home Depot’s cloud strategy. This includes a key role in driving the development and adoption of Cloud Foundry. The teams that build, operate, and maintain Cloud Foundry at The Home Depot all report to Sanders.
Wagner has been driving the Cloud transformation of Swisscom in various roles, in both its Telco and IT divisions. Since 2015, he has led the organization in charge of development and operation of all IaaS, PaaS, Middleware and Database products in Swisscom’s Cloud Portfolio, including Cloud Foundry.
Tucker is responsible for helping to shape the future of cloud computing and open source software at Cisco. He has more than 20 years of experience in the high-tech industry, ranging from distributed systems and artificial intelligence to software development and systems architecture.
