Atomist, LogDNA, SkySilk Cloud Services and Zettaset join as Silver members
SAN FRANCISCO — March 5, 2019 – Cloud Foundry Foundation, home to a family of interoperable open source projects for the enterprise, announced today that Atomist, LogDNA, SkySilk Cloud Services and Zettaset have all joined as Silver Members since November 2018. The companies join Dell EMC, Google, IBM, Microsoft, VMware, SAP and VMware, in addition to prominent end user members American Airlines, Charles Schwab, Comcast, Fidelity, Home Depot, and more than 60 other technology innovators, as Foundation members.
Through their membership, these companies demonstrate commitment to working with the Foundation and the community to champion Cloud Foundry as the industry-defining open source cloud platform for the enterprise.
Atomist, founded in 2015, specializes in software delivery automation for cloud native applications and has joined Cloud Foundry as a Silver member. Atomist’s platform natively delivers integration, correlation and automation that can be developed in code.
“Our members lead the way in ensuring that Cloud Foundry continues to evolve and enable innovation,” said Abby Kearns, Executive Director, Cloud Foundry Foundation. “We are thrilled to have Atomist, LogDNA, SkySilk Cloud Services and Zettaset as members of the Foundation and welcome their invaluable, unique contributions to our community.”
“Many of our customers utilize Cloud Foundry and we’re excited to support the community with our powerful logging integration,” said Chris Nguyen, Chief Executive Officer, LogDNA. “It’s an honor to be part of this journey with Cloud Foundry Foundation.” LogDNA, founded in 2015, is a leading provider of Log Management applications that provide deep insight into development and production environments.
“The resources and vast network the Cloud Foundry Foundation has built for their community will serve us well as we carve out our own place in that very community,” said Matt Atkin, Project Manager, SkySilk Cloud Services. “We highly value supporting open source projects like Cloud Foundry, as providing a more efficient architecture for deploying applications is crucial for the future of cloud technology.” SkySilk Cloud Services is a boutique-style cloud service provider founded in 2015 that offers simple, scalable and affordable cloud computing solutions.
“Zettaset is pleased to be part of the Cloud Foundry community,” said Jim Vogt, President and CEO, Zettaset. “The rapid adoption of DevOps and cloud native initiatives has increased the amount of data in use, which in turn creates new exposure points for a breach. Cloud Foundry’s leadership position as a DevOps platform enables Zettaset to further extend its encryption solutions to this exploding market.” Founded in 2010, Zettaset is a software-defined encryption solution that can be transparently deployed across all physical and virtual enterprise environments.
Cloud Foundry Foundation is holding its 2019 North America Summit in Philadelphia, PA, on April 2-4, with Diamond sponsors Comcast and VMware and Platinum sponsor IBM Cloud. Cloud Foundry has seen vast growth worldwide with 3,400 contributors since inception; more than 54,000 commits in the last 12 months alone; 91,000 people participating in global community events; and 64 total Foundation members. As stated in market research from Gartner, Cloud Foundry’s total market value is approximately $3.1 billion, rising to $5.25 billion in a few years.
