We are looking to the Cloud Foundry community to nominate co-chairs for Cloud Foundry Europe Summit 2018. Nominations close on Friday, May 4, at 11:59pm PST.
Please nominate people that you feel will represent the best interest of the Cloud Foundry community and who are leaders in the community. The Cloud Foundry Foundation will select the co-chairs once all nominations have been received.
What is a CFP co-chair?
The Cloud Foundry Foundation seeks CFP (Call For Papers) co-chairs for each track at Cloud Foundry Summit. Each co-chair will review the speaking proposal submitted to their specific track and select the talks with highest value for attendees, thereby helping shape the content that makes Cloud Foundry Summit a successful event.
What are the benefits of being a CFP co-chair?
The co-chairs may choose to be the emcees (master of ceremonies) of the tracks and may consider:
- Introducing speakers to attendees in the room
- Running interference during Q&A to ensure a proper end time
- Thanking the speaker after the session
